Giannis Antetokounmpo and Luka Doncic will play in a friendly game in August.

On August 4 at OAKA Arena, Greece under the leadership of Giannis Antetokounmpo will face off against Slovenia under the leadership of Luka Doncic.







The Greek Basketball Federation formally announced that Slovenia would play Greece in an exhibition game on August 4 at OAKA Arena in Athens.

Giannis Antetokounmpo and Luka Doncic may be facing off against one another for the first time ever with their respective national teams in this game.

The FIBA World Cup 2023 is to be prepared for with the game in early August. The important basketball competition is set to take place in the Philippines, Japan, and Indonesia from August 25 to September 10.

Slovenia and Greece have already qualified for the forthcoming competition.




The president of the Slovenian Basketball Federation has since approved Luka's World Cup participation. Additionally anticipated to play for Greece is Antetokounmpo.

Giannis and Doncic both participated in FIBA EuroBasket 2022 in September. The Mavericks and Bucks superstars had a fantastic tournament despite being eliminated early in the quarterfinal stage.

Doncic recorded game averages of 26.0 points, 7.7 rebounds, 6.6 assists, and 2.0 steals.

Giannis, on the other hand, qualified for the EuroBasket First Team with 29.3 points, 8.8 rebounds, and 4.7 assists.
